During this Easter season, St. Croix will not only continue the rich cultural tradition of camping on the gorgeous, sandy and public beaches of the Caribbean, but will also be celebrating Transfer Day. Transfer Day is an observed holiday on March 31st in St. Croix, celebrating the United States’ purchase of The Virgin Islands in 1917 from Denmark.
St. Croix is not only a melting pot of other Caribbean Islands, but globally. The make-up of people and cultures just adds to the beauty of the island. Wishing all peace and tranquility, which was a major factor in the United States acquiring The Virgin Islands.
Future blogs will include some fun facts of St. Croix, positive changes happening in the real estate industry, and of course market updates and information on relocating here.
